LOOK: Mr. Renzo Ramos shares us his story and the reason why he chose to study in Taiwan! Mr. Ramos graduated from Ateneo De Manila University with a bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and International relations, and a Specialization in East and Asian Studies. He also used to work as an excecutive assistant of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines. Why study in Taiwan? -I chose to study in Taiwan as I was inspire to learn more from such a determined and thriving nation. I worked as an Executive Assistant for the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines for more than 3 years and had the privilege of working with some of Taiwan’s most esteemed diplomats, businessmen, and members of the academe. My experiences in that office have made me realize how vital Taiwan’s role is in the international community and how we may all benefit by learning from their country’s success. After finishing my Global MBA at the National Taiwan University, I plan join the foreign service and hopefully be assigned as a Filipino diplomat in Taiwan to advocate greater bilateral relations between our two like-minded nations.- Renzo Ramos (TECO SCHOLAR)
